If people aren’t talking about COVID-19 or Social Distancing, the next most popular topic is likely Self Care. We’re all feeling the pressure right now. Stress and anxiety levels are high. Fear of the virus. Financial concerns. Job loss. These are challenging times for so many folks in so many different ways.
Self care isn’t something I normally think much about, but admittedly, I’ve been feeling the pressure after nearly four weeks of staying at home with my wife out of work. I knew I needed to adopt some practices to help me relax and keep a sense of normalcy in our home for my family.
Nobody really knows how long the COVID-19 pandemic will last, and there are a lot of questions about how long stay at home orders will be in place. We need to do everything we can to maintain a sense of normal in our lives and keep our stress levels down.
In this week’s episode, I share a few of the strategies I’ve been using. In addition, I asked a few Everyday VOpreneurs to tell their stories of techniques they’re using for self care in this crisis.
